Not Your Basic Bird House
I love simple, home-made birdhouses with character. But I also love ‘em when they have a touch of class to ‘em. Here’s one I saw few years ago and just scanned from my slide collection.

I want to be a bird living in that bird house.
Lovely birdhouse (a dovecote?) Cats or even raccoons might have easy access to it from the looks of the base. If I was installing one of these beauties in a garden, I’d probably use a narrow steel post versus a wide wood post.
