Laptop Gardener
The Laptop Gardener Blog is one I’ve been quietly following and reading (one of the few garden blogs I do read) but haven’t mentioned here.
Anne Marie Van Nest is a fellow Canadian currently residing in Austin, Texas (our loss, their gain) and somebody I respect a great deal. A plantsperson – former instructor at the Niagara Hort School – accomplished writer – and currently President of GWA.
But she wasn’t a blogger or had much of an online presence – and now she’s blaming me (can you imagine this?) for giving her a “not so subtle” push to get online. Well, I thought it was subtle. How much more subtle can you get than asking, “What are you thinking? You’re not online yet? What are you procrastinating for?” while sharing a bus ride in Quebec City and then some online correspondence. That’s not subtle? C’mon…
So she’s blogging. And you need to know about this blog.
There’s not much that’s superficial there. This is great writing. If you’re looking for great photographs, insightful information and superb plantsmanship. This is your blog.
Go there. Sign up. Learn. (Hey her last post is about plants that change sex)

You did it again, you created another Garden Blogger. Yes she does have a great Blog. I will have to tell her so and that the guy from up north told us about her.
Have a Great Day,
