I already grow everything else in containers, including veggies & flowers in those large, deep plastic utility buckets with the rope handles. I’d like to know more about the possibilities of growing flowering bulbs in these buckets….and roses too. Unsure of how to protect them over the winter, besides lining the buckets with gardening cloth(??). Bulbs, roses aren’t cheap so I haven’t tried to experiment yet, I’d prefer some professional advice before I tackle this one!! So if you’re up for a challenge Doug, I think this would be a good one.
